Surprise invitation

I remember that in November three years ago (2014), Pastor Jiang and Pastor Amos approached me and my mother and asked if we wanted to open a branch in Ipoh ? We were very surprised at that time. Opening a branch hall seemed to us to be a distant thing. We asked Pastor Jiang curiously, why did we choose to go to Ipoh? Jiang wants to fulfill the original pastor to shepherd us to the church, because my wife often declared, "I want to be the master teacher"; GA Furthermore there are many brothers and sisters displaced after return to Ipoh, find the right church, pastor River Heart have mercy, we think of the couple. We know this invitation Including Pastor Jiang and Pastor Amos' great confidence and trust in us, we are really moved.

Put down the response

To respond to this decision is not easy, we pray together with the children. Children born from a spiritual environment in the long-GA large, in addition to facing down a familiar home and school environment, he is not willing to have the best friends of the church. To face down and pastoral ministry in GA, in particular, to shepherd our brothers and sisters, some with more than a dozen years after the day, resist from conflict to accept the trust, from single to intercourse, from planning a wedding to filled month wine, grow together, close relationships, like family. We can talk about gratitude, happy birthday , retreat abroad, caring for ministers, going through different stages of life , and sharing each other's joys and sorrows and joys . To leave them is really unbearable! However, we know that God has a call on us to go out and open up the church. After waiting for a month to seek, we responded to God and agreed to Pastor Jiang’s invitation and were willing to be sent to Ipoh to open a branch hall, let go of everything and start over.

Ipoh's heart

Next, we worked with the GA Transformation Prayer team to seek God's will, march prayer, and spiritual drawing for Ipoh . We all agree on the Ipoh brought by God's will is to "love" them. Ipoh once accounted for an important position in the history of the child, during 1400, Zheng He's voyages in addition to a place to stay in Malacca, he also visited Ipoh, doing business in the Chinese route, Ipoh became important, But this place was abandoned and ignored. God let His love replanted on this piece of land, and let revival fire burning once again; God will embrace Ipoh children, calling them home.

Beloved name

During the church received the name of God constantly in prayer tell us to love them and help them, accept them, that is, how to make them, we must love. By God (Ephesians 5: 1): "Be ye therefore followers of God, as beloved children of a kind." Ipoh confirms our vision of the church, the Christian Church is the GB611, B is the Beloved (love), Love 611 Lingliang Church.

We want Ipoh to be a love, first of all we must be loved. We are very grateful to serve in the days of the GA treatment, rehabilitation, reconstruction, and most importantly we have a good spiritual parents for cover, their love and tolerance, let us learn something kimono in different areas.

Traveled to Ipoh

On May 31, 2015, I attended the Chong Chong and accepted the mission. Our family of four left Petaling City and drove to settle in Ipoh . Ipoh has arrived late in the evening, the night disciple invited our family and his family for dinner, so we first arrived in this strange land of people feel welcomed and accepted and felt very sense of movement.

Ipoh came here to begin to adapt to the environment, the weather, people love, culture, etc., all this as if from the same head start for us. Thanksgiving we come to Ipoh organized by the mother Church GA MG12 leaders retreat, we were also invited to join in, so that we begin Ipoh full of his family and the blessings.

A fresh start

We faithfully started the first Sunday worship at our home on the first Sunday in June. We were only a piano and TV, we just began to praise and worship, information sharing, prayer blessing. A total of 9 people attended the day of Thanksgiving. A few weeks later, there came a few children, wife in the upstairs children start gathering; adults taking part in the group know us, also started to attend Sunday worship. Over the past two years to serve, can be divided into three stages, is the family church era, the era of small churches and pastoral care of the church age.

House church age

The first stage is the house church era. All the gatherings are at home, including group gatherings, morning prayers, prayer meetings, equipment stations, and Sunday worship. The family is particularly lively. God continues to increase our number of people. After four months, there are about 30 people. The family can no longer accommodate more people to meet. The Jewish New Year 5776 is the last meeting of our family gathering.

Small church age

Since September, we have to find a place to gather and be in Yi Baonan district office, which is now the IBC 2. Everything in the Jewish New Year decoration night finished, but we are also a Sunday that began at the new location (we call it a "first god") party. When we come to a new place, we enter the teaching of restoring the feast , and let brothers and sisters understand what is the feast of God. We in the "first God" keep Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Hanukkah etc. During this period, we also went to the hotel to hold the "Meet the God Camp", as well as the first baptism and entrance ceremony. The first batch of the love child was born. Even with the party and the pastoral staff of the field office, but because more and more number of people at the party, so we pray God to open preparatory bigger venue.

Pastoral church era

The third stage is the lobby period. God wants us to start herding, we can accommodate more people to meet in new places. After a few months, the number of people increased, and children also needed a place to meet. We looked for a new meeting place, just downstairs in a larger unit. Thanks to God’s preparations, after several months of contact , the renovation work was finally started in January 2016, until all the decoration was completed in March, and the new site was opened in April. At this time, God let us prepare to enter the Passover, about 50 people attended the Passover dinner, a feast together and commemorate God's love for us Grace.

Beloved embrace

May 1, 2016 is our big day. Pastor GA611 Lingliangtang Jiang and Pastor Amos led more than 100 brothers and sisters to witness the opening ceremony of GB611 Lingliangtang. We are very touched. It is especially graceful to have spiritual cover. In the past year, from the morning prayer and the shepherding of the group, relying on the love and grace of God, we have seen the lives of many brethren and sisters, from orphans to children, to become beloved family members and experience wonderful changes. Thank you very much God's grace, the church today has about 90 people, has seven brothers and sisters willing to shepherd them together, imitators of God together, reach out and embrace Ipoh children, they are welcome to return to this beloved home, become God's love baby. 【30.04.2017】
